25 Weeks Pregnant

Luke and I have been going back to A&M football games for the last 6 years and the Ags have lost every game. Interestingly, we have watched a different team each year, and we continued the tradition this year by going to the A&M vs Baylor game (hoping for our first win watching in Kyle Field as an alumni). We did win, and Luke got lots of touchdown kisses! Here's a belly picture right after the game.

Bailey was doing her part at Gigi's house wearing her cheersuit! She can now even say her own version of Gig 'Em Aggies...Whoop. (This picture was taken earlier this Fall, but I thought it was appropriate in this post. )

So I am just past the 6 month mark in the pregnancy!!! I have to keep track of these little milestones because it is getting harder for me to chase my not so little Bailey around anymore. I am finding myself exhausted and out of breath at what used to be easy tasks during my day, and looking forward to my middle of the day nap when Bailey naps. Oh, and it's only going to get worse. By the way, I don't think I ever updated on Bailey's 2 year old appointment stats:

Weight: 23 lbs (50th percentile)**

Height: 32 inches (50th percentile)

**I don't know if anyone but myself and the grandmothers keep track of this, but before this appointment Bailey's weight had never been higher than 10th percentile. So this was quite a jump from her weight at 18 months.

We think Bailey is starting to get the idea that there is a baby in mommy's belly. She really likes to lift my shirt up and tries to kiss the baby. We have been calling the baby brother or sister, and not Baby Do or Blair or Blake so we don't confuse her. Yes, we have decided on Blake for a boy and Blair for a girl. Some of you might think it's a little early, but I told Luke that as soon as we had decided on a name we could stop talking about it, and it was shortly after that the names were set. The boy middle name is decided, and the girl middle name is narrowed down to two names so we will announce that later.

Family Camping Round 2

This past weekend we decided to go camping again. What I will remember most is Bailey discovering the M&M's in the trail mix, her insistance on going on cow and deer hunts, the excitement on her face when she woke up in the tent, and her sad realization that flashlight batteries die. Overall we had a great time, and learned alot for next month's camping trip.

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature, and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. "

Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh My!

Today was the perfect day! We took Bailey to the Cameron Zoo in Waco and had a blast. She loved seeing all the animals, playing on the two slides, and just running free. The only sad thing was that alot of the animals (the lions, tiger, and bears) were sleeping during our visit, but she didn't care. She just told them night, night and we moved on. We loved spending the day as a family with hardly any of the daily toddler behavior and just enjoyed our daughter. Did I mention that the weather was perfect? On the way home we stopped at Aunt Tara's HEB and said hi to her. Then we had movie night watching Finding Nemo. We thought it would be fun since she enjoyed the fish tanks at the zoo. Oh, for more days like this!

If only there wasn't a branch right there.
