The Annual Ranch Trip

For the last 5 years we have headed out of the city sometime in the winter to "The Ranch". The last couple of years this trip has turned into a family time/hunting trip. This year we were joined briefly by Joel, and all weekend by the Pennys. This year's trip did not disappoint! Here are some highlights.

Bailey found a lighter in the shape of a gun that was hers for the weekend. She even would hunt the deer mounts in the living room saying "boom" when she shot them. Here Luke was showing her how to hold the gun.

Tara and I on one of our long walks.

A family photo.

On a jeep ride with Boss (our old dog) riding on the hood and Bailey according to General Larry Platt (from American Idol) "looking like a fool with her pants on the ground". It actually was a really bumpy ride, and Uncle Fun was just trying to hold onto Bailey.

Costa Rica Babymoon

Franny and my parents blessed us by watching Bailey so that we could take a quick babymoon to Costa Rica. We had a blast! I enjoyed relaxing on the beach, a day at the spa, and shopping in the local shops. Luke mostly just surfed even getting a pretty bad sprained ankle the last day. As much fun as we had, once we checked out of the hotel we were both ready to get back to see Bailey.
