This Christmas carol really spoke to me this year because we snuck away and prepared room for our hearts to worship Jesus. Usually we would be in the hustle and bustle that is Christmas season, but with our ski trip we escaped most all of it. We weren't exhausted or overscheduled or a bit run down, but refreshed. : )

We arrived in Santo ready for Christmas, which is our tradition every other year! After the drive in from Lubbock we were ready to stretch our legs!

It was a little different this Christmas since we usually spend Christmas Eve with my Nana and the extended family, but that didn't happen since she is in the hospital.

Between subbing & the ski trip there was no time to make baby Jesus fetus cookies, so I bought a King cake.

I love this set of Mezger cousins because we have realized that as the cousins get older that gender trumps age, so Blake plays more with Owen and Bailey more with Rebecca, so this is a sweet same age friendship.
He sat there for hours trying to figure out the Simon game. That is the longest break he had taken from Legos that I have noticed.
It was a great time with both families and we are very blessed.
