Beau & I have a new game, which gives me the best laugh out of Beau. Needless to say, we play it often.

Trampoline Time!
We have had some beautiful spring days this winter and this was one of them. Blake landed his first front flip & Blair was showing off her splits. : )

A Sweet Note
Just had to document this sweet note from Blake to Blair. It is the first time Blake has attempted to write something out and he did it all on his own- "I love you Blair Mezger". Sweet guy! He must be picking up on all those talks about kindness directed towards girls.

Vegas
BMC, a local lumber company, invited us back to their trade show in Vegas and we had a great time! The highlights for me were just getting some alone time & spending the day with our dear friends, the Risingers. BIG, HUGE thanks to Gigi who handled all 4 kids almost the whole time!
Wednesday night dinner & entertainment
Thursday night dinner with some local Austin builders
Friday seeing the strip & dinner at Giadas

Reading!
We had a big moment the other day in our house when Bailey picked up a book for the first time by her choice and read it!! Typically reading is such hard work that she would never choose to do that with her free time, especially since she has so much assigned reading between school & dyslexia therapy OR she wants to read something she just can't. Anyways, she was SO proud! Her first real chapter book!!!

Terrible Twos
The twos are a rough time for our kids and Beau seems to be no different. Also, like his siblings, the terrible twos have come early...
This was a particularly hard day after he was throwing a fit in the post office and got us bumped to the front of the line so that we would leave.
Along these lines, daddy is his favorite, which is SUPER fun for me, but thankfully Blake trained me well in this.

We Would Like to Give God Glory in 2015 For...
1. How well Blake is doing in Kindergarten and that all the play therapy & occupational therapy helped with his anxiety, texture issues, and his responses to problems.
2. For our kid's friendships! Bailey's BFFs are Mia & Emmy; Blake's BFFs are John, Boone, & Shepherd; Blair dearly LOVES Maggie, Matthew & Bowen; Beau has Carter, Jack & Augie. I seriously don't know how we got SO lucky!
4. The opportunity to sub in 2nd grade. It was such a cup-filling time and felt so good to be doing something that God made me good at, but it also brought a lot of clarity about when I should & shouldn't go back to work. On those lines, I am so very thankful that God gave us Mrs. Lovello, an experienced teacher, to finish up the year in 2nd.

3. Continued business for Mezger Homes!! I still can't believe Luke is getting an office, 3rd construction manager, & office manager.

5. That we found a dyslexia therapist and that the program is working! Bailey is reading better & better each week!
6. Our house & neighborhood & community in the BW hood. We are SO fortunate in this area & God was SO sweet to orchestrate the events that landed us here! Swim team was a good reminder of that!
7. My Nana! God really did give me the best Nana and I am very grateful that she is still alive,so that I get more time with her.
We are looking forward to what God has in store for 2016!
