Spring Break

Spring Break started with a trip up to Gigi & Pa's and I would dare say it was close to a vacation. We started with seeing & taking care of a sick mama cow & ended with a playdate with the Penny cousins with Pie in the Face, Clearfork Farm, birthday gifts from Gigi, circus, chickens, fishing, gator & four wheel riding, exploring, trains, Tackett Pharmacy, Tori, Andrew, more cousin time & Nana Mary in the middle. I would definitely say we were all in our happy places! Here are the pictures.

Blake's 6th Birthday Party

Star Wars and Legos are major themes in Blake's life right now, so of course his party was a Star  Wars Lego party. Snapology facilitated most of the party and there was free play with HUGE bags of Legos, making of Star war themed mosaics, & light saber training with balloons. It was a great group of boys and the party was one of my favorites!

One fun thing I did for the thank you notes is that I took a picture of almost everyone & sent it through an app that "legoized" it. Sadly, I ended up missing 2 kids, but here are the ones I did catch-

Happy birthday to this SIX year old! The sixth birthday is always hard on my heart because I am done with 1/3 of my parenting before they leave the nest. What I will remember most about this stage is that you are your daddy's shadow and love helping with projects. You could spend hours & hours building with Legos, but are by far my neatest & cleanest kid. You are shy and don't like alot of attention (which you can see in some of your pictures below). You are my physical touch kid who likes both your tummy & back rubbed before bedtime. I can always count on you shooting me an I love you sign everyday. Love you buddy!
