Christmas 2016
This was our year to do Christmas at home, but that just means that we travel to Santo after the fact! Sadly Blake got a scratch of his cornea on Christmas Eve Eve and so Christmas Eve he & I didn't get to go to church as we were resting his eye. Thanks to Mr. Risinger for this picture of Luke & Bailey.
The gifts were ready!
They werer ready for Christmas morning!
We did a scavenger hunt for the sibling gifts-
In the afternoon, we headed to Franny's house for time with her & the cousins.
Jesus's birthday cake
This red, white & green cake is kinda of our tradition. I usually add the little people nativity on the top. : )
Pie in the Face
Then off to Gigi & Pa's for Round 3. It was a quick day!
I loved our greeting!
And my mom's attention to details on the wrapping paper.
More gifts!
Helping with the chickens.
My Jesus Fetus Cookie
Matching jammies
We loved our time with family celebrating the birth of our savior.

Subbing in for Blake's Class
Last year at this time I was long-term subbing in 2nd grade. This year I was just subbing for the day in 1st grade and it was so fun to spend the day with Blakers. I get alot of time with my kids, but don't really get to see them in their classroom environment, which is always fascinating.
Caroling, Christmas socks & book exchange are fun ACS traditions!
I love that it is never too hard to find these three together.
Yay for Christmas Break!!!

Family Pictures
So I guess you can't always get a great family picture, atleast that's what I am telling myself, although we did get some good ones of the kids. We are not always picture perfect, so here's us- with closing eyes and squinting eyes and smirks and out of focus.
