Birthday Boys

This week both of my boys will have birthdays- 5 & 1.

This birthday boy turned 5 yesterday!

Here's a little about Blake at 5 according to him:

Favorite Color: Green (it has been green since he was about 20 months old)

Favorite TV Show: Wild Kratts

Favorite Movie: The Angel's Superbook (It's a Bible story about heaven)

Favorite Food: Breakfast Bars & Spaghetti

Favorite Toy: Optimus Prime

Favorite Activities: Making things. Funny thing about Blake right now is that he likes to "find supplies" by looking in the recycling trash for items he can create things with. I have to regularly go to his room to clean out the "supplies" that he is done with.

Favorite Book: Harry the Dirty Dog, There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly

Favorite Outfit: Warm Weather- "soft" shorts, Cold weather- blue jeans

At his 5 year old check-up he weighed 42lbs, 6 ozs (60th percentile) & is 42.5 inches tall (50th percentile), which puts him in the 80th% for BMI.

Sweet Beau, how are you about to be one in 2 days? Fastest year of my life, seriously! And, how is it that you took your first steps last Sunday?

At his 1 year old check-up he weighed 19lbs, 13 ozs (20th percentile) & was 28.5 inches tall (10th percentile). Head circumference is 45.5 (45th percentile). All these more than doubled from his 9 month appointment!!!
