Blair's Special Morning Tradition

Every morning Blair has made it her goal to sneak down without me knowing. She will either go this way or the other way by our downstair's bathroom. It is really cute, except if she gets caught, which she HATES, but that is not often. I just wanted to document this while it lasted.

Swim Team Part 1

Can I just tell you how much I love swim team??? And the first half of the season has just flown by- 4 meets down and 3 to go! Here are the pictures from those meets-

Some highlights-

*Every kid has improved their time in every stroke this year except Bailey in breaststroke, which is a little weird since that was her stroke last year, but we will take the improvements in the other areas. 

*Blake & Blair are legal in breaststroke & butterfly!!

*Blair & Bailey got swimmer of the meet for the Twin Creek Meet. 

*Everyone has won atleast 1 heat ribbon.

*The Kuykendalls, Nana, Gigi & Pa, and Tori have all gotten to come watch a swim meet (or two).

So if you need me for the next 3 weeks, it is likely that I will be at the pool.

Abigail Has Gone to the Farm

A huge thank you to Gigi for taking Abigail to the farm. Abigail's gender is still in question, but Bailey is one happy girl about Abigail getting to live with Bailey & Blair (the chickens).

Also, Blair made it her goal to have a chicken since she donated alot of the eggs to the class. So, her chicken is Lady Bird who turned out to be a rooster and is living the farm life with Ashton & Andrew.

Blue Mezger 6/13/04-5/31/17

Yesterday we said goodbye to a faithful friend of almost 13 years. She loved us well and we were sad to see her go, but she had gotten very sick with bronchitis/pneumonia by the end and was in bad shape. Thank you for all the snuggles, for being my walking buddy, and for loving me unconditionally.

School Pictures & End-of-Year Wrap-Up

School is out for the summer!!! Here are a few last pictures from school! We had a great year in 3rd, 1st, pre-k, and the 2's class.

We could not have ask for a better year. She is blending letters, reading simple words, made lots of friends, and had lots of fun! For Blair's character rock she got determination. Next year is the start of kinder for Ms. Blair!!!!

Blake

Blake also had a great year at school with Mrs. Alexander. 1st grade ends the year with the Flat Stanley project and he sent it to Trail West. He also is turned into quite the reader. Blake got the character rock of honesty.

Bailey

Bailey also had a good, but academically challenging year. She got perserverance for her character rock for the 3rd year. She has a solid group of friends and loves Gaga ball at school. She is very excited about her chicken- Abigail or Adams to go live with her Gigi.
