Moms Are the Best!!!

We just wanted our moms to know that they are the best! I don't think we had any idea all the things you did for us when we were growing up until recently and we just wanted to give y'all a big THANK YOU!

On that note, let me just say that there is nothing better than a visit from your mom, especially when you are recovering from surgery, you have a tornado, oops I mean toddler, and your house is on the market. The moment mom arrives life all of a sudden seems easier, the days go by quicker, and I can take a deep breath and relax because everything is going to work out okay. And did I mention that the house is magically cleaner.

After a couple of days of taking care of me, Bailey headed to Santo for 7 days of Camp Gigi. Here is a glimpse of fun activities!

The camp director is of course Gigi, but she couldn't have done it without help from some counselors: Grandpa Mark "Pa", Uncle Andrew "Juju", and Aunt Tori "Ori". Gigi was of course so busy keeping camp running that the camera magically couldn't catch any pictures.

At camp there was a wide range of activities that you could participate in. Going on nature walks to see all the animals, playing in the sandbox, and riding the four wheeler were all favorites of the camper.

On one of their walks they found some baby kittens. Sssshhhhh...they are sleeping.

One of the lessons learned was how to be sweet to kitties and not pull their tails. We are still working on that.

Riding the tractor just like Pa.

She probably spent the majority of her time at this turtle shaped sandbox. She loved shoveling and worked very hard in moving the sand from place to place.

When Luke and I showed up it was show and tell time. Some of the things she told us was the new words she learned: please share- "peas shar ", thank you- "tank ju", milk and crocs (her shoes). Blue also helped us find a real turtle, which was much scarier than the sandbox turtle.

Thanks you for taking care of us and letting Bailey come to your house for camp. It's a wonder I got her in the car to come home with me.
