- Do you remember that Bailey had an imaginary tiger that followed her around? Well, some of my dad's cows are on the loose and follow Blake around (pretend of course). Most of the time they live in our back yard, but they didn't want to get left behind and ended up going to Port A with us.
- Blake is also always on the lookout for deer and elk to shoot. Occasionally when he gets mad, he shoots me or Bailey, but we are working on that. There is a picture of Luke & Joel on our picture wall with their "snow" elk that he shoots daily.
- Clothing Strike #2 is under way in the Mezger household. This was when clothing strike #1 happened. For the most part it's cars shirts for Blake, but he will take Thomas or cowboy shirts (plaid button ups) if his cars shirts are dirty (and it's a bummer how often they are dirty on purpose).
- He is very fickle if his shirt or pants gets dirty and always wants to change. This means we go through a couple outfits a day. Good news is that he is really good at dressing himself.
- Blake is MR. INDEPENDENT. We hear "my do my self" ALOT.
- He loves to get inside things.
- He knows almost the words to the book The Little Blue Truck.
- He LOVES to have his back rubbed! He asks to have it done every night before bed and he is quite a good back rubber himself.
- This boy is crazy obsessed with Pa and his tractors. My mom sent us a video of my dad bailing hay and Blake watched it 40 times just that day.
- He uses his hand to pretend to call people. He seems to always tell that person a question then say, ok?, bye.
- For bad or good or silly, he imitates those around him. He has watched me put my makeup on before, but I was surprised how well he could imitate me : /.
(Note that his leg is crossed like mine and we were both doing our makeup.)
- At dinner time Blake has self appointed himself as Mr. Distraction/Family Clown. It's a cute and frustrating role.
- As much as he loves all things construction and farm, he also has a tender spot in his heart for taking care of babydolls. This was a picture his preschool teacher sent me of his favorite doll at school.
