Update on the Kids

Just wanted to do a quick update with pictures of the kids. These are from the spring and early summer. 

Bailey

The life of Bailey includes decorating her room with a dragon theme, matching Mia, a cousin sleepover with Rebecca, taking care of Bailey her doll, and of course there is always dressing up and playing pretend.

Blake

Blake's world is full of hard work as he calls it. He loves to work on his job site, vacuuming  and cleaning his room, & doing chores. He is a very organized kiddo I mean look at his shoe drawer (on bottom) compared with Bailey's. He also got a cousin sleepover with Owen and loves boy time with our neighborhood crew.

Blair

Sweet Blair is a typical 3rd kiddo trying to keep up with big brother & sister whether that is doing school, learning to swim, or doing chores. She like is very into art & drawing.

I love kids' drawings of people! It can just tell you so much about how they see the world.  This is me and those balls around my mouth are teeth! Blair loves to call my hair "rainbow hair".

One day I went into her locked room at naptime and couldn't find her. At first I couldn't tell that our toy kitchen was slightly away from the wall and I got scared. Thankfully, I found her here fast asleep.

Right now she is getting scared more than normal and it usually has to do with Decepticons (from Transformers). I am not sure if she has ever even seen Transformers. Thankfully, we can usually get Blake's big Optimus Prime and scare them away, but if not then she comes and makes a pallet on our floor.

Beau

My baby is not so much a baby anymore. He is walking great, is climbing anything & everything, has 10 teeth (front 4 on top & bottom, plus top molars), loves sucking on his two fingers and we are currently in Operation Drop Morning Nap. Everyone comments that he either looks like Blake or Blair and definitely has the Mezger Blue eyes.  At his 15 month appointment this week he weighed in at 20lbs, 6 ozs, was 30 inches tall and head was 47 cm, which means he is a small guy. He is pretty much the size Blake was at 9 months, which is so sad because I thought clothes would fit perfectly since they are only 3 days apart. Luckily we have cousin Colt!!
