Garner State Park

I am going to start with the fact that we got a new truck!!! All 6 of us could not all fit in Luke's old truck and we were putting some serious wear on our minivan, plus we couldn't pull our canoe or fit bikes in the van for trips thus the new truck. And we certainly loaded it down for 2 night, 3 days at Garner State Park.

Also, just want to flashback to the last time we were at Garner in 2012. Time has flown by, I mean look at these babies!

Last flashback to our previous Garner trip, but Blake has always loved to help his daddy with the tent and this trip was no different.

We had a great night thanks to some new cots and the older two sleeping in our 2 man tent.

The first night we finished reading My Side of the Mountain and it was fun for the kids to find these two hollowed out trees.

It was about at this time that Bailey said that her stomach was hurting her and by 10:30 she was throwing up and continued every 2 hours until 10 in the morning. It was rough! We had mounds of vomit laundry to wash when we got home.

I didn't want to just rush home, so we made Bailey a sick bed in the morning and we went swimming one last time.

We have not been camping in 2.5 years and it was great to camp again. It was Beau's first trip and only our 2nd trip to camp with just our family. We are already looking forward to the Spring and camping!
