6 Month Update

I can't tell you where the time is going, but Blake is growing up too quickly. Last week he turned 6 months old. At his doctor's appt, he weighed 17lbs 6 ozs (55th percentile) and was 27 1/2 inches tall (75th- 90th percentile). His biggest accomplishment lately has been army crawling and it has been really fascinating to watch him learn to do so. Now he's trying to figure out how to get his legs and arms to work together to actually crawl. If he's not on the floor exploring, then his favorite place to be is in your arms so that he can see the world around him. We jokingly call it his parrot position because he just perches there and is perfectly happy. We are still working on eating solids, but that will come with time. Not sure if two little teeth have anything to do with it, but we are blaming everything else on them so why not add eating solids to the list of things it has affected. Teething has not been fun for anyone, but as of yesterday that seems to have passed and our happy, smiley baby is back. We even got him to swallow rice cereal for the first time and he is back to sleeping through the night! Okay, time for pictures, which is probably why you are here in the first place : ).
