Alot of Maroon with a Touch of Orange

Bailey's 3rd Birthday Party

Can't believe my little Bailey is 3, but if you ask her how old she is, she will hold up 3 fingers and say she tells you she is "2 older". I think this comes from us telling her she is another year older and getting confused that she is still 2. We love that she still has her own unique way of communicating things. For her birthday this year, we decided to do a little pre-game cookout with our families. Luke woke up the day of the party singing "Daddies don't let your daughters grow up to be longhorns", so I guess the brainwashing has begun. We went ahead and encouraged people to show their support for their team of choice as we would be in maroon since wer were headed to Aggieland for the game later in the evening. To Bailey it meant that lion needed something to wear so she stole a table decoration helmet for him. That is where the fun began and no sugar was needed as she was wound up the moment the guests started arriving and didn't stop until bedtime.

Opening Presents- let's just say that everyone hit the jackpot and we might not be wearing anything other than cars/toy story shirts with her new shoes that light up when she walks. I didn't get a picture of this, but Aunt Ali even made Bailey her own Disney Cars skirt with matching shirt.
