Halloween Party Pictures

So I came up with the idea for our costumes last year at the Halloween party. I just thought that since all our kids have (and would have) b lettered names and we jokingly call them the bees that they should be bees. I even bought Blake's costume Nov 1st of last year, but I always thought that it would just be Blake, Blair, Luke & I. To my surprise in late August Bailey told me that she didn't want to be a dog, but wanted to be a bee. For a week or two I tried to convince her to be Lady from Lady & the Tramp or Bolt, but she wouldn't budge and wanted to be part of the group as the princess bee. So to my delight I got one more year with family themed costumes! Here we are:

Luke & I love to throw our Halloween party. Luke greatly enjoys all of our friends getting together and I LOVE all things Halloween, but especially seeing everyone's costume choices. To say I was SO impressed my friend's costumes would be an understatement. In fact, the the bar might have even been raised a bit. Thank you to everyone who loves on me by hanging out with me on my favorite day of the year. And without further ado, here are pictures from the 5th Annual Halloween Potluck & Trick-or-Treating.

Thanks to Tara for this great sign!

Here's almost everyone. There is a Curious George theme; Superheros; a clown; Shepherds & Sheep; Fiona Shrek and Shreklings; Giraffes; Paper, Rock, Scissors; Fish; Snow Whites & Grumpy Dwarf, Bees & Bee Keepers, Fairy Tale Characters, and More Superheros!

Here are most of the kids. Ali took a bunch of pictures and there was at least one blurry kids in every single picture.

And take 2 with a few more kids getting in and some leaving as well.

This was us trying to copy our picture from last year.

And the boy's turn:

Kyle (Jester) , Phil (Clark Kent), Joel (Captain America), and Luke (Mr Bee Keeper)

The two awesome grandmas as a fairy grandmother and a clown.

A close up with Margaret, little Maggie, & Katie

The Superhero Hamms.
Their superhero powers must have been in use during the group shot.

Amber & I.
Bailey thought it was so fun that there were more bees at the party!

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all... these two Snow Whites!

Wonder Woman Emmy & Bailey

My across the street neighbor friend Amanda who was also throwing a Halloween party.

Trick-or-Treat

What I will remember most about this year is that Bailey & Emmy were self-proclaimed protectors of Owen- "Trick-or-Treat, but don't give Owen anything with peanuts". It was very sweet at heart.

Stopping for a candy break.
This was the fast group, but eventually the whole group met up and went together.

Luke with the 2- 3 year old boys.

Then it was back to the house for some more bouncy house fun while we cleaned up & then relaxed.

Blake adores his cousin Owen.

And thus another great Halloween is done!
