It means your 5 year old gets up to throw up in the middle of the night, then comes in your bathroom and gets the "throw up trashcan" and heads back to her room. After throwing up again, she then tries to clean out the trashcan herself like she has seen us do, but finally comes and asks for help. She then crawls in bed with you with towel & trashcan to begin the ritual of nightime stomach bug. I feel so bad that she was trying to take care of it herself so that we could sleep. I guess she has heard me complain about this before. : /
It also means that said 5 year old tried to play hookey about three weeks ago acting out the symptoms of a stomach bug well enough for me to not send her to school, so that she could have a movie day because that's what we do over here when she has had the stomach bug. However, after about an hour I could tell what was up and foiled the movie day plan and we had an unfun day at home as punishment.
Oh stomach bug, you are going to be the death of me, but we have an appointment to see a specialist to see if we can figure out what's going on.
Also, if you haven't seen me in the last 3 weeks, just know that besides Bailey's four day long stomach bug complete with a trip to the ER, we have had colds, fevers, RSV, and Luke got a stomach bug, so we quarantined just in case although only he got it.
Needless to say I am SO thankful that we are ALL healthy right now!
