Bailey's 7th Birthday

It is hard to know exactly how to handle birthdays. Seriously, how do you include everyone you want to and not go overboard and not break the bank??? So this year we are did a couple of things- a school party, Gigi & Pa fun on Saturday, a sleepover with Mia, and dinner with Nana on Sunday. Sadly we missed some of her non-school friends, but schedules get tricky and the Fall is a busy time for everyone.

For her party, Bailey, along with her school friend Morgan, had a joint tea party and invited all the K-3rd girls. Here are the birthday girls!

And of course, I had to take a few pictures of decorations. Thankfully, we did a tea party for Bailey's 5th birthday and were able to re-use a lot of decorations.

These were supposed to be edible tea cups, but the handles wouldn't stay up. I think this is what you call a pinterst fail.

Because you have to be silly before you sit still and use all your manners, we had a photo booth-

All the girls.

So this birthday party was a week before her actual birthday, which left room for day-of fun. The only thing I didn't expect was to get a stomach bug, so not many pictures : ( and to be honest I just barely remember the day as I was really not feeling good.

Breakfast Pancakes are a tradition around here.

Notice the dark window? Yes, I said breakfast, so this was very early and way before sunrise.

This was her evening cake decorated by her. : ) B.B.'s chocolate cake or McKinzie sheet cake depending on which side of my family you ask.

And this was a sweet poem from Emmy, along with a new pet!

Meet Emmy the frog and Bailey frog is somewhere back there.
