Some Saturday Fun

We went to a super fun birthday party/1 Mile Family Fun Walk for Kenya! Yep, T has a really creative mommy when it comes to birthday parties for a cause. Basically you walked the distance that kids in Africa walk everyday to get water and let me tell you that Bailey is thankful she doesn't live in Africa!!! All proceeds from the race went to building a well in Kenya.

A Rite of Passage- Bailey's Lemonade Stand

 

Bailey wanted to have a lemonade stand and that Saturday's weather was perfect for it. Luke's only condition was that she had to do it herself as much as possible. So, they counted her spending money and with grocery list in hand they headed were off to HEB to buy supplies. Then back home to make the lemonade, the sign, and set up shop. One lucky thing about our busy street is that it was PERFECT for a lemonade stand and she ended up making $15!
