12 Months/12 Things

I like to do these every once in awhile, but in honor of Blake's 12 months, here are 12 fun, unique things about him.

1. Can say ma-ma and da-da, understands ba-ba (bottle) and can sign all done.

2. He is probably going to be another monkey. Blake has already learned to climb up Bailey's kitchen stool and onto chairs, but luckily he can also go down. I couldn't get the video of this to upload so pictures will have to do.

3. He loves my wallet. It's probably his favorite thing to tote around. The only dangerous part is that he has also taken to hiding things in random places, so you never know what you will find where.

4. When praying with the kids before a meal, we usually sing the superman prayer. His eyes just light up when we sing it and is already trying to copy the hand motion of flying like superman.

5. This kid can bolt. Just puts it into super drive and bolts. Lucky for us we know his favorite things to go for- patio door and dishwasher. We also see this superspeed when playing chase.

6. He loves his giraffe pillow and lambie to sleep with. He plays with and bites their ears.

7. Just walking outside can turn a bad moment around. He loves to be outdoors digging in the sandbox, playing in the house, and just walking around.

8. For good or bad, he watches and immitates Bailey's every move. One cute thing he has learned is that dinosaurs roar and has taken a liking to roaring when holding one.

9. When sitting his feet are usually crossed at the ankles.

10. We have to be careful to not forget to completely shut the garage door. If we ever can't find him, he has probably shut himself in and is in there playing with Blue's dog food and water bowls.

11. He is kinda fussy in the evenings. Bailey was too when she was this age, but bathtime makes it all better.

12. My handsdown, favorite thing about him is that he lets you snuggle with him when he's falling asleep. Just turn off the lights and turn on the noise machine and his hands just fall to his side and his head goes down on my shoulder. He just sits there like that letting me rub his back, so sweet.
