Thought this was a neat one of Bailey exploring the raker.
Anyways, this love has even earned my mom the nickname Ms. America. : )
So, Tori (and my mom this year) has, atleast for the last 8 years, been in charge of putting up flags on the veterans graves at a particular cemetary in Weatherford. It was fun to tag along and help her out this year. It was also a good teachable opportunity that will need some follow up conversations. I don't remember exactly how the conversation went other than: me "soldiers are men and women who fight for our country's freedoms", Bailey "you mean fight like when Will, and John, and Jayden play good guys vs bad guys on the playground", me "kinda", Bailey "they better not get my Gigi, those bad guys or I'll get 'em".
Now here's what the whole weekend looked like:
I didn't see too much of Blake last weekend as he was busy helping Pa do farm things and he wanted to do it ALL.THE. TIME. Everyone commented that Blake's vocabulary was on a short loop- Tractor ride, get key, let's go, come on Pa! Over and over and over again. I think he wore my dad out! The last picture is a bit special as this is Blake's first (of many) hay bale.
Did I mention my parent's got a fancy snowcone machine? They say it's a juicer, but all I saw were yummy, yummy snowcones.
I know it may not look like we were all sick, but life with 3 kids has to go on. I was not throwing up at this point, just really sore and weak. My dad was worse, but since I am too much of a girl to get a fish off the hook, he had to come.
And what about Ms. Blair??? She was SO good and SO patient and SO easy that Tara didn't have any hesitation in taking over for a bit. ; ) As much as my older two can be some pretty good birth control if you are young or thinking about having kids, Blair could reassure you about wanting a little one if that makes sense.
