ACS did a presentation to Northwest Baptist (the church they rent space from) and the family & friends of ACS students about what they have learned so far. It kinda made me feel like I got to go back in time and witness a Little House on the Prairie type town presentation.
There was a lot about the presentation I already knew because I have sat in on morning chapel or because I memorized it alongside Bailey, but I was eagerly anticipating the ACS timeline.
Here is Bailey presenting her timeline date- Stonehenge and she nailed it! If you spoke to me over Thanksgiving or right before this, then you knew I was definitely nervous for her because she had to memorize it in a short time period, but she got it word perfect.
This is a little better glimpse of what the timeline looked like-
Claire with The Fall, Tristan with the Sumerians, Alivia with early Egpyt, Bailey with Stonehenge, and Kate with Abraham. It continued on the other side of the stage with each student taking an event and ending with Troy and the Trojan Horse. Each student in K had 4 long sentences to memorize about their event and the amount increased with each grade.
She was so proud of herself!
One sweet thing was that we got to invite Franny & the other Mezgers to come and Bailey loved having them there. She took her Nana to meet all the staff at ACS and all her friends. These were some sweet ones of her and Owen as she was thanking him for coming. I love how Rebecca jumped right in. : )
Not in focus, but love the smiles.
If you know Bailey, then you know she loves silly pictures.
And one smiling.
Thank y'all for coming!
